Question: Which gift will you choose for your friend and why?

Part 3: Topic Development (5 minutes)

Topic: The disadvantages of online shopping.

Ideas:

Follow-up Questions:

1. What can be done to address these disadvantages of online shopping?

VSTEP Writing Test

Part 1 (120 words)

Situation:
You are planning to visit Harry in Da Nang for one week. Harry has sent you a message asking about your plans.

Write a response to Harry's message. In your letter:

• Say whether you would like to meet his friends at the festival.
• Suggest where you would like to go after the festival.
• Mention whether you prefer sightseeing by the river or watching a football match and explain why.

Part 2 (250 words)

Topic:
Some people believe that public transportation is becoming more popular, developed, convenient, and affordable compared to private vehicles.

Write an essay stating whether you agree or disagree with this view.
In your essay:

• Provide reasons for your opinion.
• Include relevant examples or personal experiences to support your arguments.
